Chef Touch
Privacy and cookies
How we handle your data when you visit cheftouchs.com or ask about an experience.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Davide Di Muro, the contact for the Chef Touch project. For information and requests about your data, email cheftouchs@proton.me. Chef Touch is a project preparing to launch, not an incorporated company.
The details you provide
The form collects your name, email, phone number, chosen experience, number of participants, town and province. You may add a preferred date, occasion and message. Fields marked * are needed to handle your enquiry; the others are optional. We cannot process the enquiry without the required details.
Do not include health information, allergies or other guests’ personal details. We do not collect payments through this website.
Why we use your data
We use your details to reply and discuss a possible experience, as steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Website protection and the prevention of spam and duplicate submissions rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available (Article 6(1)(f)).
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to newsletters or promotional messages. Acknowledging this notice is not consent to marketing.
Technical data and abuse prevention
During browsing, Cloudflare processes connection data and technical requests. At the form verification stage, Turnstile evaluates your IP address and browser and device signals to prevent automated submissions.
To limit abuse and duplicate submissions, we temporarily keep a random enquiry identifier, technical fingerprints of the submitted data and IP address, and submission status and times. These fingerprints are pseudonymous, not anonymous; this register does not contain your name, email or message text.
Who receives the data
Enquiries arrive in the controller’s mailbox and are used to reply to you. Cloudflare provides hosting, security, the technical register and email forwarding; Proton AG operates the cheftouchs@proton.me mailbox.
For Turnstile, Cloudflare acts as a processor to protect the website and as an independent controller to improve bot detection. Your data is not published or sold.
Where data is processed
Cloudflare uses international infrastructure, including outside the European Economic Area. Its data processing agreement provides for the Data Privacy Framework for covered transfers and standard contractual clauses in other applicable cases.
Proton states that its mail servers are in Switzerland, Germany and Norway. Switzerland benefits from a European adequacy decision. You can ask the controller about safeguards and how to obtain a copy.
How long data is kept
Enquiries that do not progress are deleted from the mailbox within 6 months of the last contact. The controller handles deletion manually; the website does not automatically delete emails.
The anti-spam register expires after 24 hours and is removed by hourly cleanup, within 25 hours. Database recovery copies may retain previous data for up to a further 30 days, depending on the Cloudflare plan. Proton keeps its own backups for up to 30 days.
Any technical data processed independently by providers for security follows the criteria in their privacy notices. Before any service is confirmed, updated information will be provided about the data processing needed for that relationship.
Cookies and website content
We do not use audience analytics or advertising tracking. Fonts, images, videos and music are served from our domain. Playback preferences stay in the open page and are not saved persistently.
Cloudflare may use technical security tools during abuse checks. Clicking to enter the website relates to navigation and audio playback, not consent to advertising.
Your rights
Email cheftouchs@proton.me to request access, correction, erasure and restriction and, where applicable, portability and objection. In particular, you can object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation.
You can complain to Italy’s Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or the competent authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.
Decisions and direct contact
Automatic checks may block a suspicious submission, but do not decide whether an experience is accepted or make decisions with legal effects on an individual. If the form does not work, email cheftouchs@proton.me directly.
This notice is updated when the service or data processing changes. The version is shown on the page.
